Restore Proper Functionality of "Save" Button
We would like to see the "Save" button perform a NetDocuments save operation (without check-in), just the way that, pre-NetDocuments, the "Save" button would save a document... show more
Interim saving of documents is recommended by every instructor, self-help book, guru, etc., so why not have NetDocuments support that functionality? We have had many instances of lost documents for whatever reason, in spite of regular interim "Save" as users were taught.

Enable Auto-Checkin at User Level (My Account)
Some of my users do not want auto-checkin, others do. Some want it only for Word, others for Word and Excel. It would be preferable to have those be user settings in My Account, rather than require an add-in macro be edited and re-compiled. show more

Print one or more emails including attachments, if any
We recently needed to print (with attachments) all 772 of the emails for a matter, all stored properly in a matter workspace. At best we could print the emails (without attachments)... show more
So we had to open each email, print it and any attachments. It was a huge job, one which automation should better assist.

Recognize .eml files as Email in all respects
Microsoft Outlook Express Email (.eml) messages are not recognized as email by NetDocuments. You recognize only Microsoft Outlook email (.msg) messages... show more
We have a lot of .eml messages gather in discovery, joint defense proceedings, etc. that we would like to see recognized as Email by NetDocuments, thereby facilitating their review and handling. We would like to see the common email fields (Email Date/Email From/Email To) extracted and included in folder/category/seach displays, as well as their automatic inclusion in the File Extension section under "Email Only".

Default profile field values
The AUTHOR field is used intermittently, as it is just one more thing to do when saving a document. I would like it to default to the author value corresponding to the user creating the document. show more
